Hi friends,

This newbie author has the first book in hand!

After learning new programs, a computer crash and other mini disaster, it's finally a reality. Leave it to me to choose a publisher that cautions that it's for "experienced authors", and I was thinking, "how hard can this be?" Ignorance truly is bliss. But having lived my entire life with the philosophy that no one was born knowing how to do something and anyone can learn anything, I jumped in.

Brought to life is a small book, 10x8" with 50 pages of Scratchboard Etchings and stories of encouragement and observations from my world.

Based on the animals and events that make up my life, it is authentic art from this creative soul.

You might have noticed that the first sentence contains the words "first book"......yes, there are more to follow and another is in the planning stages now.

The next is a huge departure from the Scratchboard Etchings......it will involve sketches, creative thinking,  and encouragement of a more personal nature. Sort of the ups and downs of a journey from one creative soul to another.

After much thought, I have decided not to talk about it much as I want it to be truly from my heart without outside influence.

As a dear friend has told me, "tell your story, or someone else will do it for you".

So, on to the next adventure!
